It’s exciting when something is the day after tomorrow – most of life, I have come to experience, is in the day before the day after tomorrow. We wait in expectation of what God will do. It’s close enough to feel it but not quite in sight. Welcome to my reflections on that place where I – and all of us – live.

When I first saw your phrase “Thoughts on the day after the day after tomorrow,” without any further immediate context, it brought to mind N. T. Wright’s phrase for describing heaven as “life after life after death.”
